VARNAL is a cavity varnish used as auxiliary in covering and protection for the pulp-dentin complex.
When VARNAL is applied there is a solvent evaporation in a thin resin film that remains on the surface of cavity prepared.
Such thin film acts as a semi permeable membrane, obstructing the passage of some ions.
It is most important to obtain an uniform and continuous covering on the whole surface of cavity prepared.
